Exciting news! APAC has received a Civic Engagement and Get Out the Vote grant from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. This grant enables us to mobilize members of the AAPI to exercise their rights as American citizens. With the grant, we will be able to: 1) translate voter education and registration materials into several AAPI languages and 2) help our community members register to vote.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to be a part of this exciting initiative to help us staff voter registration tables at various community events throughout the summer and fall, leading to the November 5th national election. Volunteers will be trained. Please let us know if you are interested by replying to this email.
